About

Growing up in Suburbia, OH I was bit by the travel bug. Side effects included: trekking the creek in my backyard, a rebellious nature, a permanently packed bag filled with essentials (granola bars, clean socks, and a teddy bear) to be ready at the drop of  a hat, and an odd knack for collecting bits and pieces of anything I came across.

To cure my travel bug, I moved to the big city (Washington, D.C.) for college. But, surrounded by people from all over the world with intriguing accents, delicious food, and unique fashions was just a constant reminder that I had to go see those places for myself! Living in Washington, D.C. only made my travel desirous side effects increase.
Luckily, I discovered a way to subdue the travel itch- by prescribing myself a healthy dose of journeys to the destinations of my dreams. I’ve traveled all over the world, and even spent a six month stint living in Europe (London then Rome). For a full list of everywhere I’ve been, check out My Travels
As much as I love to travel, sometimes the best part of the trip is coming home, curling up on the couch with my puppies, and recording the fun My house in DCtimes on this blog. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed living them!
